For those who know them, Paul and Tom are the original HOME boys — opening the doors back in April 2021, when social distancing was still a thing.

After working in major cities, Paul had a vision: bring that big-city buzz home. Think small plates made for sharing, fabulous cocktails, brilliant service and a talented local team — all served in the warm, welcoming place everyone now calls HOME. Tom had already been working in Manchester for many years and jumped on board to create the menu.

Since then, HOME has grown, changed and evolved.

Between them, Paul and Tom have more than 70 years of experience — although, remarkably, neither looks a day over 50 (they made us say that). To celebrate five years since HOME’s opening, they’ve joined forces once again. They go back a long way — long before HOME existed — and, against Tom’s better judgement, he’s letting Paul back into the kitchen.

Prepare yourselves. No little ears allowed.

Their CVs read like a who’s who of the culinary world (apparently). They wanted us to list all the impressive names here, but nobody likes a show-off, so we’ll leave you guessing.

For this special celebration, Paul and Tom have created a six-course menu inspired by great British favourites. Expect simple descriptions, exceptional ingredients and plenty of flavour — all delivered with Tom’s signature style and a mischievous twist of Paul.
